The NT 100 Cap Club Empty Re: The NT 100 Cap Club

Probably the most interesting one on the list is Graham Goodrich. He made his debut for the All Blacks back in Season 4 but it wasn't until Season 19 that it earned his 100th cap -- about twice as long as most people on the list.

I'm not exactly sure on what the story is there but Goodrich spent most of the single digit seasons out of the All Black frame but made his comeback back in Season 12 and continued to contribute until Season 21. His final game was this QF loss to France in the World Cup. He was 34 when he retired from international rugby.

Dominic James wtf

Re: Goodrich.

IIRC, I initially called him up to the All Blacks in S4 as a 17-18yo because of our severe lack of height in our locks despite his skills being next to worthless. When the U20s replaced most of the original All Blacks in S5 after their first U20 world cup, Goodrich was shunted out (by Hohia and Cottier I believe) but due to his long term training by Vandernators (who at the time were a domestic powerhouse) eventually cracked the squad in his 20s.

Gutted that Tazewell never cracked the 100 caps list Sad

Goodrich was a beast. Loved calling him up for the big games. Him Cottier and Marler were three of the greatest locks.

Really depends on how fast he declines and the skills he drops - might make it to the next world cup!

Nope, he's started plopping. In fact he dropped in strength from Godly to Legendary yesterday.

I'm pleased to announce that we've had five new inductees into the 100 Cap Club over the last two seasons.

Edmund Verigotta, Fionn MacIlrea, and Zach Cassell know each other well. They made their All Black debut way back in Season 18 when they all took the field against Zimbabwe (a game where MacIlrea scored a last minute try to grab the victory 34-28)

The other two new inductees are the big men of the All Blacks: Nasoni Whakapapa (205cm/126kg) and Maleli Pareraukawa (208cm/120kg)

Pareraukawa just earned his 100th cap two weeks ago in a recent 41-24 win against Australia. Unfortunately it wasn't too much to crow about, he was off injured within 25 minutes.

A big thanks to the_killerz, PTT, dirtyhands, Elsteveo, and lukedukekiwi for their training over the seasons.
