Monday Friendlies - S29
Gentleman,
There is word going around that there will be changes to experience next season. The whisper is that the experience gains from playing LTNT will be reduced to the same amount as playing normal.
To counter this, I am thinking about creating a Monday friendly tournament for the NZ community and managers from other nations that are training players for our NZ teams - these games will be played on WNWIM.
Due to the recent changes to individual sessions, there will be no energy hit from individual sessions from tuesday training, so playing your NT/U20 players in these games will take a minimal hit of energy (around 3-5%).
I have messaged this to most of the NT trainers, but if you aren't training any U20/NT players and you'd like to join in as well please let me know. Bren or whoever takes the U20 role next season - if you'd like me to organise some teams that are training U20's and add them into this comp give us a holla.
I will go ahead and get this organised in the next couple of weeks for next season, however if I have already sent you a PM and you don't wish to take part in this, please send me a message and let me know - otherwise I'll go ahead and create the fixtures in the and have it all sorted ready to go for S29.
Cheers fellas.

Can I enter all 4 of my teams? 2 aren't currently training NZ players but it will be easier for me if all 4 either are or aren't included.

Re: Monday Friendlies - S29
What will be the criteria to enter the tournament? I would be interested, and although I don't currently train any u20/NT player, I plan to train a certain 208 guy who becomes 17 next season.

No criteria, if you're keen I'll add you in!
Sparky - yep I'll add all your teams however will have to by away from home if that's all good.

Cheers mate -- we need something like this, I'm not too fussed if they're not in but if you could include my Scottish affiliate as well as my Kiwi team that'll be super. (I've already registered my Dutch team into the IGTWCC)

Re: Monday Friendlies - S29
Currently, we have three teams signed up for
S29 IGTWCC TEAM LIST
All Kings (NZL) 2185
Auckland Katipos R.F.C. (NZ) 1736
Patea Maori Club (NZL) 20253
If the S29 Monday friendly competition is confirmed, I would pull out from the IGTWCC

Re: Monday Friendlies - S29
Friendlies created, apologies to Sparky and Bren for their teams Apeldoorn Catfish & Economists for not getting any games, had two extra teams and needed to make 14 Monday friendly games for each team and kept the next two Mondays free for finals.
If there is any mistakes please let me know.
Cheers gents.

Re: Monday Friendlies - S29
So who else is looking for regular Monday friendlies that missed out on the comp?
Apeldoorn Catfish
Göttingen Catfish
Gimps Pimps
Economists
Fellas
We could play with ourselves for the rest of the season for igt and rating points exchange?

Re: Monday Friendlies - S29
Ok I will include elsteveo's affiliate to make it 6 teams. If he doesn't want them to play, I'll find another team from literally anywhere in the world to join. R5 to R14 H & A, play each other twice.
I *should* be able to use the old Marlborough Cup control panel to create fixtures, otherwise I'll ask Activist to create them with the NZMF comp fixture tool.

Fixtures created.
@elsteveo, let me know if you don't want your affiliate to be involved and I'll replace them.
The winner will get a trophy. However the winner won't be counted in pure wins or competition points. It will be awarded to the team which has the most competition points, which will be normalised by the average starting XV CSR used for each match. A bit complicated maybe, but I'm looking to give recognition for skill rather than brute CSR power.

Re: Monday Friendlies - S29
Using complicated mathematics I have determined the winner of the Marlborough Cup to be elsteveo's Fellas and he has been given a spoon, and gimping's Chattham Island Battlers get the runner up spoon.
If anyone misses out on Activist's Monday friendly then I can sort you out weekly Monday night friendlies.
