Hey just thought I would put it here in case anyone wanted a hooker/prop with 550k + CSR ... He's getting old but isn't dropping off skillwise or CSR yet ... Chucked a million on him ... But with 5 godly skills he has a lot of upside ... Only reason I am selling is I am going under due to my salary bill ...

Perhaps something for Pantherus to secure promotion?

Great to see you are still around trippa. You've done a fine job in training him, and got lucky with him not declining until seemingly 35.

Ugh - not sure it would be a smart move financially given my current hooker is 27 (so not exactly a "young up & comer")...might have to unload him and buy a younger model who can gain igt/training until Albert drops enough...

Would making a post about him in the player ads clubrooms with a note about how he's still increasing in CSR improve his value? It must by a little right? Everyone's going to assume he's dropping and value accordingly (though he can't be far away from dropping so I guess it doesn't change the equation much)

McConnel is 27yo, $16404/week, CSR=162235
Albert is 34 yo, $30272/week, CSR=551000

I am going to assume the following:

a) The market value of MccConnel is negligible (not entirely true)
b) Albert is going to decline starting from next week at a rate of 5000CSR per week (worst possible scenario)
c) Mcconell will increase his CSR at a constant rate of 500 CSR per week.
d) The price for Albert when sold is $1Million

In that case:

at the beginning of Season 29:
McConnel increased his CSR to 163700 and cost $49000
Albert decreased his CSR to 535000 and cost 4840000

at the beginning of Season 30:
McConnel increased his CSR to 171700and cost $260000
Albert decreased his CSR to 455000 and cost 4840000

at the beginning of Season 31:
McConnel increased his CSR to 179700 and cost $260000
Albert decreased his CSR to 375000 and cost 4840000

at the beginning of Season 32:
McConnel increased his CSR to 187700 and cost $260000
Albert decreased his CSR to 295000 and cost 4840000

at the beginning of Season 33:
McConnel increased his CSR to 195700 and cost $260000
Albert decreased his CSR to 215000 and cost 4840000


So in 4 full seasons time (beginning of season 33) provided Albert declines starting tomorrow and he does so at 5000 each week, you will have that Albert is still marginally better than a 31 yo McConnel in both CSR and experience.

Albert will have cost you $3 million and McConnel $1 million.

So you pay extra $2 million to have a better hooker than McConnel for the next 4 seasons. That is in reality the decision to be made.

Albert's salary decreases with time while McConnel increases. Panth you will need to win the qualifier too because your ranking is super low. Albert, and a couple of other great old players would help with that.

Yeah that's my main though - I've had to beef up my team a fair bit and will likely need more if I'm to promote - of course that's all assuming I even win the league which isn't guaranteed.

I'm rather surprised he only has reputable exp. 226 league caps, 55 cup, 26 U20, 181 NT appearances at the age of 34, nearly 35...the exp gaining system isn't right imo.

Yeah 601 caps all up ... I would say that is as experienced as you can get

In all honesty, will look at putting a $2.5m auto on him today/tomorrow.
