[S31] NZI banter

Are the groups created yet?

Only waiting on 5 teams to accept their games, otherwise S31 is ready to rumble. The NZI site is having problems though and is currently down.

NZI site is back up again (but needs some cleaning up e.g. reset the points tables), but was down yesterday circa 7.35 pm kiwi time.

I'm getting requests to play pantherus, four in total now. I'm sure something's wrong.

Something is super fucked with the R4 fixtures. You're not the only manager with 4 new identical fixtures to accept.

So for some reason Welcome Bay Bandits don't have games against Shapeshifter and Green Bay Gremlins in the Kembler Shield in R3, 5, 10, 12. The only rounds Shapeshifter is missing are R3 and R10 so you have them in those rounds which leaves Bandits vs Green Bay on R5 & 12.

Not idea what the actual problem is though, or why R4 keeps pumping out identical fixtures.

And yes - I mistakenly signed up for the WCC with my alt (I thought I'd only signed up for IGTWCC) which has caused a conflict.

I've deleted and recreated the fixtures for rounds 4 and 14 which had been duplicated. I know why 14 was duplicated (poor design of my site, basically) but not sure about round 4.

IN any case, there's a new set of fixtures for those rounds to be accepted.

Panth, there is still a problem with this because some fixtures were never created in the first place.
And a reminder to update the site and points tables.

R4 is still churning out repeated fixtures e.g. 3x Melville vs Night Runners games.

I'm honestly stumped as to how/why that's happening...

Somewhere is a webpage with the input to create round 4 fixtures being reloaded several times...it's not on my work machines though - I've checked...

For fuck's sake! Something is still spitting out R4 fixtures every fucking day...I really don't understand what's happening, all I can figure is that SOMEONE is loading up the URL to create fixtures over and over...

At least they will stop when it gets to R4 D4 right? Only another 13 days of 13 identical fixtures to go. Would have been worse if it was R14 doing this.

yeah - I'm thinking I need to just change the code to stop creating fixtures for a bit...
