*Note: Apparently High Diamonds won the Vaikona Cup on the back of 5 draws. However I believe these 5 draws came about by a certain manager who will go unnamed forgetting to press the anytime friendly box when signing up so games were overridden. These should be 5 forfeits instead so I declare Fellas to be the Vaikona Cup winner. The tie-breaker with Binge-drinking Ballbags (equal points) is head to head (1-1) with Fellas having a superior number of total wins and points differential. Both teams had one "draw" with High Diamonds (both at home) so I don't think gimping can complain about Fellas finishing above Binge-drinking Ballbags to get the trophy.

My team is shit next season, maybe drop me right down.

Not a problem. Tier selection is done by average CSR so you'll end up where you below regardless of what tier you were in last (this) season.

Yay, after two seasons being there or thereabouts, finally a title in the NZI!!!! It has not been easy though, I must say that I enjoy the excitement of this competition. I hope I can promote to the Cottier Shield... will try to avoid the last spot

I added an affiliate of gimping's to get to the magical 48.

@Pantherus can you create the pools now? You'll have to delete the Cottier Shield for this season due to 48 rather than 56 teams. Then I'll have a look at them to check for any funny business, and winners got promoted, losers relegated, etc. After that I'll ask you to create fixtures.

edit: A another team signed up just after I posted this. Delete gimping's Totara Valley Bulls to return to the 48 teams.

I think I am falling in the last pool due to my seed number being the 8th from bottom. However, I would very much play in the group immediately superior and face the likes of @Activist 's North Shore Saints or the North Harbour Falcons... even if I know I won't win too many games. Is this feasible or is it too much trouble?

You won't be in the last pool anyway because you won the Gair tier.

Oh cool. Then I'll patiently wait for the pools to be completed and rue my luck because of a too tough group
