Among the first posts! Cryptic .... wooooo
As for geography, not so much. I was looking for a legend to make the comparison and the first thing up in the search was the fishing trip and a picture of the totems on the mount.

Re: Season 28 Discussion
Rebuild is coming along relatively well I think.
Need a prop. 2 loosies & a wing before I have a reasonably solid XV.
Probably look at using younger guys for those remaining positions as a fair number of guys atm are late-20s so need to keep balance.

I'm back. Well sort of....
In the same boat as Pantherus I believe - can't even really remember how to play this game if I ever really new to begin with. Haven't got his financial riches though but have managed to pick up some average young players who might be good in a few seasons.

Re: Season 28 Discussion
I'm in minor rebuild mode as well after being absent. My Dutch team needed about 8 players from the 22 to get a good refreshing. Still after a front rower, half, and backup front rower.
My Kiwi team was in much better shape, only one player in decline!
Goal for both teams is to win their league.
(and yay! PTT!)

What caused this revival? The farming crack down? Or just coincidence?

Combination of the Farming Crack down and realising I'd promoted out of Div IV into Div III so it was a good time to reactivate (competitive so will be pushed, start on better contentment, etc.

The farming crackdown might have had a subliminal effect on me but just decided to get back into it.

Wow, been doing some tactics experiments with my two teams. this last game I just had was a cracker. Final score 40-39, lead changed 9 times, finally won by a drop goal in the 75th minute.

Re: Season 28 Discussion
Whelp - squad rebuild is pretty well done.
Think I've got a reasonable mix of old and young players - made a couple of screw ups when buying - wound up buying 4 props, one of whom was Rebellious and I changed my mind but still wound up buying him (for my autobid max no less!) and one of whom has ended up playing No.8 as the 6 I was going for I missed out on (just)
Potentially a couple more buys to get 2nd generation ready but think I'll probably sit back for now.

Dagnabbit. Got Rhymes With Orange as my cup opponent next week -- was opening for someone easier. I've got a minor sense of deja vu as he knocked me out of the Cup ten seasons ago in the same round.
My Dutch team have a much easier team next week, so definitely hopeful of getting to the next round there.

Man, being in the weird Canadian timezone I forget to check my Cup results when work gets busy. This isn't the first time I've got the bad news on the offsite... Last time we met was season 12, I think.

my favourite stat sheet....thanks Pantherman
Gotta love the new training system....Ranger can now play more often and i have given him the early kicking duties (the skill sits only at Satisfactory) just to see how many points/tries he can score in a cup season
