Season 31 General Discussion

I have a flawless openside flanker. He's easily one of the most skilled players in the team so in attack he's gold. He's got the second best technique in the team, but when it comes to counter rucking I sometimes would like him a bit less disciplined.

However, playing aggressive was not an option until recently, as I had to get rid of several bad-behaved guys in the team. In S31 I am ready and I can choose to play aggressive to take advantage of the good discipline, but even in aggressive, the flawless discipline means my openside rarely disrupts the opponent's rucks either with steals or with penalties.

Finding the right balance is not easy.

I am toying with the idea of running a 6 like player instead of Bari.
Probably be next season I have a couple of good looking prospects in my Academy who could fill the Gap.

I have a Longstaff and a Shorthose in my club's juniors.

For a few more hours I have 5 players in my squad with nz flags...would be 6 if Jethro seed house was currently selected...don't think I will ever see a BR day like this again...

I have 4 for the next couple of hours haha. Awesome for a div 1 team to have so many U20's though

My Guys survived an epic fight back.

Defeatables were 34-7 down with 10 mins to play.
Game ended 34-33.
My reward is a game vs the Fleas....

they'll get a run at some point...I will probably start them and set a substitute rule to have them replaced if I fall behind after so long....

I have a few Achilles problems you could possibly exploit....no decent lock pairing...a reckless forward pack....a floundering bench...

Yeah good point I will just ignore the 120K CSR advantage you have over me too ehh?

if I throw in a couple of U20 and reserve players that csr reduces to about 50-70k?....give yourself an intensity advantage...and bam, game on!

No I hadn't checked Div 1 for a few weeks. You managed to squeeze out another win today...with a wnwim and just managed to avoid getting run down in the last quarter and blowing a 25 point lead

Aha lol. Severely cash strapped and this season looks a lot like no chance of playoffs already.

im sitting on 9 million, but it is almost pointless as I cant buy anyone decent as I refuse to spend exorbitant money on over-inflated transfer market prices!!! really need another lock and really need to bring in some better disciplined forwards....im getting smashed constantly in the friendly comps as I get penalised out of the game....

Know how you feel, finally built up a good $3 million after many seasons being broke as fuck now that I got some coin you can't really find anyone decent for $3 mill, even oldies 27+ at 250k csr upwards going for that much.

Agreed. It looks like your players or money or anything won't be transferred over to the new game so you might as well spend up now while this version of the game is still somewhat popular.
