I ended up in II.2

I see only three teams in III division with lower CSRs than mine. I see myself normalling in the Cup ans WNWIMing in the league during the first 7 rounds...

Has anyone else missed the new members email in NZ? I got it in Samoa but not in NZ.

PS: only 256 bots in NZ means real matchups coming as early as round 2!

Now that you mention it I didn't get the new member PM either. Diary doesn't mention it either.

Tryasta gets a win first up in his quest to avoid relegation.

Ulysses Riders handed us the win with a WNWIM. Me understands nothing. If nothing is done to avoid it, next league match will be my first BR Ranfurly challenge ever

Seeing what Carnage fields I think I will need more than one challenge to have some hope to get it.

TM prices are crazy. $4M for a nearly 27yo with moderate exp.

lol no. You can do with Cadwallader whatever you like.

It never fails to amaze me how much exp is overlooked. I should really be used to it by now yet here we are. Dedman went for $4.3M in the end so multiple manager were willing to shell out big bucks.

To some extent, it is understandable. Training CSR requires training slot, which are expensive. Experience, on the other hand is easier to give/get.

What can't be understood, though is that someone makes the effort to train CSR and yet, the player does not play regularly. And when the player is moderate at 26, you know he will never get past satisfactory even if he got a call up for the NT...

And yes, experience is overlooked.

I was in the same league as Ulysses Ryders for a long time. he has a good squad by CSR but they always seem to under-perform for whatever reason.

I spent two seasons in a league with the ranfurly shield and never got a challenge so if i was you I'd take the opportunity to have a go when it comes up

Tryasta has trimmed his squad  down to 24 players and he is already regretting it. Next Cup game against Shapeshifter will be really tough and the league win might well mean I am out of the Cup as early as round 4

I actually have the largest squad I've had in years, 28 players. I'll stick with it until the cup run is over, at least.

Oh,not really. I prefer to win and be regarded as a whiner than to lose and be right in whining.

At least my u20 back has fallen injured and thus I will be spared of the regular mail from the u20 manager when he is not on the field.

Last time, believe it or not, he remained on the field 2 hours after the match was over, just to ensure he was maxing out the experience.

Which is probably why he got injured this weekend. He should have been in the ice pool and the massage room to prepare himself for the next game. You should have his coach flogged for allowing it!!

Yeah, well. Got Ty North in the ice pool for the same reason and he got dumped from the team xD xD xD

He was dragging down the average exp of the U20 squad

Hey Guys - Took a gander at my training report yesterday and Noticed that Deacon Hehea is dropping rapidly and Liam Korp has crossed 30 so he'll start to drop any day.

I've got just shy of $5m in the bank and so while I'm not actively playing any more I'm happy to pick up trainees for U20 or NT and devote 10 L5 sessions to them.

I'm totally out of sync with timings - could it still be worth pulling trainees from the academy or should I just hit the TM?

This is the season for pulling. How many stars do you have?

I would pull your 2 tallest players Veniri and Headlam. Your other 2 tallest players Hart and Ngoungou are 19 and just about to turn 20 so you'll automatically get 2 "free" 10 star players who hopefully hit the lock jackpot of physicals. Then pull 2 fat guys and hope you get lucky. After that you might as well save stars for S38.

Could do, but we've been talking how 60* per pull is usually good enough. Maybe 100* each and then save the rest for S38 and do the "recommended" 6x pulls then.

Being round 4 already, I say limit the number you pull or they will be born perhaps too late. My advice would be to scoutl three players now, at around 100 stars as per Sparky's advice, and save the rest for the season 38 scouting.

Just so we're clear - I'm looking to pull my tall or fat guys and train them?

Or am I pulling to hopefully scout some good talent and them later train THEM?

The latter.
Unless Korp starts dropping soon - then train one of the 4 players you pull this month.

my team is starting to seriously haemorrhage

Dizdaric (7) losing 1500 csr a week
Clery (9) losing 2200 csr a week
Gicheru (11) losing 2700 csr a week
Amador (14) losing 3300 csr a week
Berthon (15) losing 3000 csr a week

I have a few other 30sh year old players who are possibly living on borrowed time.

the robelix of old would have sold these players earlier and consolidated, but im too far behind the 8 ball now. the coffers aint that full (4 mil)....seems very remote I will see a glory period for the Herk Terriers again....hopefully I can have one more decent crack at the cup, and maybe auto-avoid relegation for the season.

me thinks the vultures are starting to circle.
