Halfway through the season and I'm sitting in second place following my promotion to II.3 after languishing in III for however many seasons I was down there. Considering my initial aim was just to avoid a relegation battle I'm already very pleasantly surprised!

I have to say, my league this season is probably the most competitive I've ever been in. There are 6 teams who could realistically win it. I'm predicting a Dogs Sharks final  

Looks like I'm finally out of the cup . Time to sell up on the oldies! What's usually the best time to have auctions ending?

Morning NZ time. But any time is ok as long as you avoid NZ arvo because that is when Europe sleeps.

Ahh cheers for the device . I'll try set a bunch of sales for Sunday around 9am then haha. Hopefully that'll have the Europeans up and a few kiwis about . Going to sell up the oldies and look to develop the 20 year olds I bought!

LTNT and a weaker team can only carry you so far it seems haha! It's weird too, my players kept kicking up and unders in spots where my kicking percentages were low to nil (and usually when I had immense pressure haha). I'll have to tinker with them more I suppose!

Consider Sunday 04:00am - 06:00am

Most European matches will have just been finished (2:20am for games in Central Europe and 3:20am for matches in the British Isles), so plenty of European managers will be connected to check their results and half of them will have just received some $$$ at the Gates. True, you will be missing most kiwi managers, but you will have plenty from Belgium, Germany, Italy, France connected at the time.

A lot changes in two seasons

the cup quarter finals are looking like the most even we have probably ever had....no clear cut favourites for the title this season...will be a great few weeks to find the champion....

Kings xv are an interesting team. They play the same lineup on normal every week (cup and league). They're yet to win a game in the league this season despite their relatively strong csr, yet somehow they're still in the cup

...boy, i sure could have used him yesterday for the cup, but nevermind, he ought to bolster my league one chances by a lot....only cost 4.3 mil

You purchased just the one player? I really wanted another prop or loosie but Croatian farm teams pushed them out of my budget so I settled for a back. Then again a 30yo 540k CSR lock sold for only $3.3M which was a steal imo and it's impossible to have too many locks in your pack.

I would say both have strengths and weaknesses but overall there is one stat that is clearly favoring the Catfish Crusaders: 945kg vs 1001kg

That plus a halfback of 136kg.

That really narrows the Gunslingers defense and breakdown options, I'd say.

Impressive. I think sparky has mastered the art of possession keeping and possession use.
