Re: Season 29 Discussion
Ok, here is the thing:
Because Brentton has been unable to dedicate the time he would have liked to the u20 manager role, sambo10, donkeysaint and myself have been effectively managing the team.
Despite his efforts, there has come a time when the situation needed some change and all 4 have talked and discussed and we all have agreed Brentton's resignation was for the best. He has been an absolute gentleman in this discussion.
We think (donkeysaint, sambo10 and myself) that the best thing would be to keep the team that has worked during subseason A, and (this is my personal opinion, probably shared with the other two managers) we could benefit from someone else to join the crew.
We have decided either donkeysaint or myself will run for the position, as sambo10 will be progressively more involved in the looming World Cup.
So I would say there are people interested in the job, yes.
But feel free to run your own candidature or even to join the board

Gonna get pumped today. Made the wrong decision, should've dumped. Only logical thing to do. Ah well, the dumps will come though.

@robelix I think someone has been playing mind games with you...
WNWIM and 0-27 up only to fall victim of second half subs and lose the game.
That must hurt.
@razor We have a saying in my mother tongue that can't be translated: Qué cabrón!!!

Just a reminder that these elections are shorter than the normal ones. There's less than 48 hours until it ends.

Perhaps slightly late, but anyway, here's the speech.
Ballots are cast here.
I also see Chewy's hat is in the ring.. Hmm, I wonder if I should contract razor for some negative campaigning.. ? Oh, sorry, wrong thread.

I was telling myself to dump but didn't have time to change the team. I just rolled double 7's for the first time in ages.

It's been a week now. Surely the Foxton Foxes should have the shield handed over to them.

Re: Season 29 Discussion
Today I'm making a serious attempt to win my division. I'm facing my division's five times consecutive winner, the Maungati Mainlanders at home. I have never been in a position to challenge them before, but here it goes..
It will be my first league LTNT this season, exciting!!
Will i cover myself in glory, or crash into the mud? Check it out here.

Oh dear, another loss on the cards. Deadline changed by an hour so got on some S28 default with sold players replaced with who knows what.

In that case I probably didn't need to LTNT

Thank you! I did it, and got the 5-pointer I needed to take the league-lead!! First time ever!
Now I need to do it again in the final!

Another record set by team 12209, oldest scrum-half (or any other position) ever to play in the first division (especially in a top original nation). Francisco Arbizu came on in the first 5 minutes at the ripe age of 55 years young, playing basically a whole top-level game; he made 108 carries, won 1 turnover, made 3 tackles but missed 6. If any of us could do the same we would be a superstar.

Re: Season 29 Discussion
Two great wins for my teams over the weekend - Night Runners won against 2nd-placed Naki Boys to net a 10-point lead on Normal, and with 2 rounds against Bots to finish out the Season I can cruise into the playoffs with good energy. Naturally I'll fuck up the playoffs!
In South Korea my High Diamonds nabbed an away wain Normal v LTNT to remain top of the table as well

A fine effort from a 55 year old, it's just a shame his opposite number made 5 beaten defenders and two try assists
